Public hearing set for 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14

The Nezperce City Council will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 606 Maple St., starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14 on proposed changes to water and sewer rates.

The proposal adds an additional $5 per month fee to water accounts to cover administrative costs of the water department. The existing $5 monthly sewer fee - in place since July 1, 2023 - would continue to go to improvements to the city sewer system.
