Idaho's Liberty Bell to visit Nezperce Sept. 29

Idaho's Liberty Bell is generally located in front of the state Capitol building.

Idaho’s Liberty Bell will be in Nezperce on Sept. 29!

The bell is visiting all 44 counties as part of the celebration of America 250.

The recently refurbished reproduction of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia was first placed at the Idaho State Capitol in the 1950s.

State Treasurer Julie Ellsworth sent the bell on the tour, which started in August. Ellsworth, a former teacher, also created dolls that represent the country’s founders. The dolls have also been touring the state.
