Garden Club seeks donations

The Nezperce Garden Club is seeking donations to replace the deteriorating wooden benches in the Blue Star Memorial Park on Oak Street. 

The club is hoping to update the five wooden benches with maintenance-free, coated metal benches. The benches will be similar to the benches on Oak Street, but they will be smaller and without names.

Contributors to this cause will be named on a plaque placed in the park near the benches.

The Blue Star Memorial Marker, placed at the front of the park, was made possible by donations from our community and pays tribute to all who have served in the Armed Forces of America.
