Council appoints Ingram as mayor

The Nezperce City Council appointed Kimberly Ingram as the town’s new mayor on June 24, 2026 at a special meeting held at City Hall.
Tyler Nelson, the former mayor, resigned on June 8. Ingram, Nezperce’s first female mayor, will serve out the remainder of Nelson’s term.
City Clerk Rhonda Schmidt swore in Ingram at the meeting.
The Council will fill Ingram’s seat at a future meeting.
