City seeks treasurer

The City of Nezperce is accepting applications for a City Treasurer.

To apply, please provide the Mayor and City Council with a completed employment application, a cover letter detailing why you are interested in the position, and an up-to-date resume.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a current driver’s license, and have extensive experience in municipal accounting, budgeting, and public finance. Advanced bookkeeping, cash management, and fund investment experience is a must with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and municipal accounting software.

Applicants must display the ability to work independently, manage the city’s general ledger, oversee the annual audit, and handle public fund compliance.

Wage will be based on previous experience. This position comes with PERSI, HRA and medical benefits.
